Ladies from our parish celebrated the spirit of Christmas at St. Mary’s annual Christmas Tea on December 19, 2015.  Father Germanos spoke highlighting  the central role of the Spirit and the presence of St. Mary ensuring  the continuation of such gatherings from year to year.   A variety of delicious salty snacks and sweets were served by the ladies who organized the event. All joined in to sing a number of Christmas carols. Towards the end of the gathering, a draw was made based on the tickets’ printed numbers. The prizes were distributed by Santa.

A good sum of money was collected from the tickets and the traditional bake sale.The money will be used to support the social work of the parish. Worth noting is that the cakes and cookies were baked and generously offered by ladies from the parish.
