For this year’s summer camp the religious education children and their mentors returned to the Najib Nimah compound in the Douma region.  The theme for the 2018 camp was “The Cross – Tree of Life”. Our parish priests, fathers Germanos and Nicholas were frequent visitors.  The Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the beautiful church on the compound.  Morning and evening prayers were also conducted there.  38 children and 8 mentors attended the camp.  Dr. Laila Nehme was present through the 5 day camp.  All parents attended the bonfire night.  The children had put together several both amusing and meaningful sketches and they sang beautifully the hymns of the church.
