On Saturday, October 29, a sunny, beautiful day, more than hundred parishioners gathered in the church
yard for a traditional Lebanese breakfast.
Father Germaons and Mrs. Laure Obeid, on behalf of the organizing ladies’ group, welcomed the attendees expressing the wish that the event would strengthen the bonds of unity among the parishioners and their sense of belonging to the church. The
welcome words were followed by a prayer and a hymn and then Father Germanos blessed the food. Several live breakfast stations were in place serving all kinds of food from saj manouche to chwarma and knefe. All guests received a plant of lavender or rosemary as they left. Father Germanos announcing the take away gift, spoke about our duty to take care of the environment.
