The lecture focused on the importance for Christians to be living witnesses of Christ who are not afraid to proclaim their faith. Christians should stand together in facing the challenges in today’s Middle East where it is their role to make a difference when truly believing and acting as being the “light”, “yeast” and “salt” that flavors everything around. Dr. Khalaf stressed the scandal of the division of the churches which creates an obstacle to the Christian testimony and called for unity in diversity.
